Evolito’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric propulsion in aerospace applications in support of a net-zero world. We will help to revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation. Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation. As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months. As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Buyer to develop and maintain relationships for categories of spend in order to support the business with direct materials for the production of Evolito products. _Key responsibilities will include:_ * Owning the delivery of a defined category of spend including working with internal and external stakeholders to assess manufacturability and deliverability of parts, identifying suppliers and appropriate supply routes aligned to production requirements * Managing suppliers through appropriate governance depending on the complexity and criticality of the commodity and/or supplier risk * Negotiating pricing aligned to expected forecast and challenging supplier costs * Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers within commodity scope and driving through deliverables. * Owning procurement activities for the category of spend including managing procurement activity in line with production requirements, expediting parts, supplier returns, manage supplier KPIs, and invoice queries for responsible categories * Owning sourcing and make vs buy decisions relating to commodity scope with internal stakeholders * Working with operations and planning to align
