What They're Looking For.

Must Have

at least 5+ years of buying experience in purchasing metals, cables, sheet metal, machining parts and some electrical devices and/or PCBA’s (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies), skills in negotiating contracts, including pricing, delivery schedules, and terms of payment, Vendor management experience in buying from and dealing with overseas and local suppliers, Ability to work independently and collaboratively, Well-versed in inventory management techniques, including Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory, to minimize holding costs and ensure the availability of critical components, Good analytical skills and proficiency with procurement software such as Oracle Procurement Cloud, or similar platforms to streamline purchasing processes and maintain meticulous records

Nice to Have

Semiconductor industry experience will be highly similar manufacturing sector exposure such as automotive, industrial manufacturing etc. are also welcome to apply

What You'll Do.

Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining high-quality standards for materials and services

Create and maintain relationships with vendors

monitoring performance and addressing any issues as they arise

Track and manage stock levels and optimizing inventory to meet demand

using inventory management systems

Ensure purchase prices meet organizational requirements

Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify potential opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Negotiate minimum order quantity (MOQ) pricing with suppliers

Reschedule in & out requirements as driven by the ERP system

Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities
