What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of user experience in a Manufacturing Ops, Quality, Engineering Support, or IT related role., Experience investigating and supporting solutions for a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity, innovation and coordination among multiple stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Experience with Boeing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) – Velocity, CMES and/or MESci., Proficient in MS Suite (MS365, Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word)., Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent., Experience in technical or factory support role requiring root cause analysis and resolution., Familiarity with Boeing lean frameworks, processes and tools., Familiarity with Azure DevOps, HCL Leap, and/or Tableau., Experience writing test scripts., Experience maintaining User Access Control for digital systems., Experience using SQL to query databases., Experience developing training content, user guides, web-content, and/or other relevant communication materials regarding software user support topics., Customer service oriented with verbal and writing communication skills., Subject matter expertise in Boeing’s CMES and/or Velocity system(s) and business processes., Proactive work style with ability to work independently and prioritize a high volume of tasks appropriately, staying organized & meeting deadlines., Adaptable, growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
What You'll Do.
critical support and configuration management for our current Manufacturing Execution Systems (CMES and Velocity) to enable factory production.
Investigate technical and configuration issues for CMES/Velocity in partnership with IT and factory stakeholders to support manufacturing execution.
Navigate and interact with backend systems and tables to resolve technical and configuration issues for CMES/Velocity.
Develop and maintain expertise in CMES/Velocity system integrations
limitations and control policies.
Consult the business on current MES capabilities to inform enhancement and future system development.
Develop and maintain user guides
and other communications material related to MES user access provisioning
Manage User Access Control for customers in CMES/Velocity in accordance with Boeing data security policies.
Perform user audits of MES systems and permissions to maintain access policies.
