**_Job Family_ :** Data Science Consulting ** _Travel Required_ :** Up to 10% **_Clearance Required_ :** Active Top Secret (TS) **_What You Will Do_ :** Guidehouse is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where the individual will collect, transform, integrate, and analyze data to identify trends, assess performance, develop visualizations in support of organizational and mission goals, and support decision-making for information technology programs for our national security and federal law enforcement clients. **Responsibilities** * Support business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to leadership via dashboards and reports * Analyze and interpret business problems and issues using business intelligence tools that incorporate data from internal and external sources. * Identify and analyze trends or patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions * Contribute to reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems * Communicate findings and insight to peers and mid-level management * Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements * Collaborate with team members and participate in team projects and initiatives * Utilize Power BI and other analytic tools for data visualization and business intelligence (BI) * Deliver client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development ** _What You Will Need_ :** * An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance * B.S. or B.A. in a quantitative field (e.g., business, data analytics, mathematics, statistics, computer science) with TWO (2) years of relevant professional experience * Intermediate proficiency in Power BI
