What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent education, training or experience in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Management of Information Systems, Business or related technical field, Two (2) or more years related experience, Experience with data analysis or transactional applications required, SQL database experience required, verbal and written communication and documentation skills required, demonstrated attention to detail, Ability to use deductive reasoning and analytical thinking with sound judgment and decision-making skills, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are also essential, Must be self-starting and willing and able to work independently in a dynamic corporate organization under pressure of tight deadlines and aggressive expectations, Problem solving skills with the ability to influence others without direct authority, Must be able to work effectively in a team environment as facilitator and team member, Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to Have
Experience in the electric utility industry and/or in a similar organization as the CAISO, with settlement, market, analysis or operational background is highly preferred, Experience translating policy changes into business requirements and creating test cases preferred, Knowledge of CAISO Market and Settlement systems is desired

Participates in designing and updating Settlement configuration guides
Implements Settlement configuration changes
Updates Business Process Manuals
validates and executes test cases
Ensures good quality of Settlement system implementation
Supports market simulation by analyzing input data
Executes settlement calculations
Publishes settlement statements
Coordinates with other teams to ensure all input data is received
Provides support to user acceptance testing
Fulfills data requests from internal and external customers
Participates in policy discussions
Provides input on implications to Settlement systems or processes
Makes recommendations for policy changes
Collaborates with project management and business analysts
Creates Settlement business requirement
Participates in the tariff reviews and development
Communicates with internal and external customers
Assists in researching and resolving settlement issues
Ensures assignments and deliverables are completed accurately
Communicates and interprets settlement results
Represents the business unit at inter-departmental meetings
Supports the resolution of issues

Partners with senior team members on design implementation and testing; Collaborates with project management and business analysts; Communicates with internal and external customers; Assists in researching and resolving settlement issues, including working with other business units; May represent the business unit at inter-departmental meetings; Must be able to work effectively in a team environment as facilitator and team member
