Full Job Description

## Description We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Representative to help expand our presence within the commercial construction, facility services, and technology infrastructure markets. This role is ideal for a true hunter who thrives on identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships, and developing business from the ground up. The successful candidate will focus on generating new Request for Quotations (RFQs), bid invitations, negotiated projects, and service opportunities by developing relationships with key decision-makers throughout the commercial construction industry. If you enjoy prospecting, networking, creating opportunities, and driving revenue growth, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact. Business Development & Prospecting Develop and maintain relationships with General Contractors, Electrical Contractors, Construction Managers, Facility Managers, Property Managers, and commercial building owners. Identify and secure placement on contractor bid lists. Generate new RFQs, bid invitations, and negotiated project opportunities. Conduct regular in-person prospecting visits and relationship-building meetings. Build relationships with Project Managers, Estimators, Purchasing Managers, Operations Leaders, and other key stakeholders. Attend industry networking events, trade shows, association meetings, and business functions. Research and identify upcoming construction and facility projects. Sales Pipeline Management Maintain a disciplined prospecting schedule and territory development plan. Track sales activities, contacts, opportunities, and follow-up actions within the CRM system. Maintain consistent follow-up throughout extended commercial sales cycles. Collaborate with estimating and leadership teams to maximize bid success and conversion rates.
