**This role is for one of the Weekday's clients** **Salary range: Rs 100000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 1 - 20 LPA)** Min Experience: 5 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth within our events division. The successful candidate will focus on uncovering new business opportunities, securing clients, forging strategic partnerships, and boosting revenue through corporate, experiential, and social events. **Requirements** ### Key Responsibilities * Discover and cultivate new business prospects through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and participation in industry events. * Build and sustain strong connections with corporate clients, brands, agencies, and event partners. * Comprehend client needs and offer tailored event solutions that align with their goals and budgets. * Create and present persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and pitches. * Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and commercial terms with clients. * Work closely with event operations and creative teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction. * Track market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities within the events industry. * Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline to meet monthly and annual revenue goals. * Participate in industry conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and trade shows to enhance the company’s visibility. * Ensure prompt follow-ups, keep accurate sales records, and regularly update CRM systems. * Maintain long-term client relationships to promote repeat business and generate referrals. ### Required Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related discipline. * Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or client servicing within the events, experiential marketing, hospitality, or advertising sectors. * Comprehensive knowledge o
