Full Job Description

Rotork is seeking a technically strong, commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth across the Chemical, Process & Industrial (CPI) markets in EMEA. This is a strategic, customer‑facing role focused on identifying early‑stage project opportunities, influencing specifications, and positioning Rotork as the preferred partner for electric actuation, gears and instrumentation solutions. You will report to the Head of Strategy for the EMEA CPI team and operate within a highly collaborative matrix structure. The role works closely with regional sales teams, product managers and senior leadership to ensure aligned strategy, coordinated customer engagement and successful execution of growth initiatives. The Role * Drive growth strategies across key CPI segments including chemical, HVAC, mining, marine and data‑centre cooling * Identify and pursue new projects at feasibility and design stages, influencing end‑user and EPC specifications * Build strong relationships across the CPI value chain: OEMs, EPCs, contractors and end users * Work closely with regional sales teams, product management and engineering to shape product roadmaps and go‑to‑market plans * Provide market intelligence, competitive insight and customer feedback to guide commercial decisions * Support new product introductions, campaigns and key industry events * Spot partnership or M&A opportunities that strengthen Rotork’s market position The Successful Candidate * Proven business development and sales experience in the process, automation or industrial sectors * Strong technical understanding of flow control solutions and ability to translate customer needs into compelling value propositions * Confident communicator able to influence at all levels * Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and a proactive, self‑driven approach * Skilled in building relationships, negotiating and delivering customer‑focused outcomes * Excellent written communication and strong presentation/Excel s
