What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or related technical field, Five or more years in business development, account management, sales engineering, or technical project management in embedded software or embedded systems, Proven track record selling technology services, ODM, or outsourced engineering to corporate R&D departments, ideally with three or more closed engagements of meaningful size, Fluent business English (spoken and written), Native or fluent Mandarin, Willingness and ability to travel internationally
Nice to Have
Existing relationships with R&D leadership at international device companies, Experience selling into professional AV, smart lighting, connected devices, industrial or agricultural robotics, or medical devices, Background working inside, or selling into, European or American high tech companies

About the role Sioux's Embedded Solutions business unit helps high tech device companies focus on their core product IP while we take care of the embedded stack underneath it. Alongside embedded software development services, we offer three connected service offerings: 1. Lifecycle Support. Seven to fifteen year security maintenance, OS and component sustaining, automated regression testing, and field defect resolution for products already shipped. 2. Embedded Android. Migration from Linux, Windows CE, or legacy RTOS to Android; full stack Android product development on customer hardware; and Android version upgrades for the installed base. 3. Edge AI. On device intelligence (vision, sensor fusion, predictive maintenance) running on the silicon already inside the customer's product, with no cloud dependency. We deliver through a blended European and Asia engineering model, giving customers Western engineering standards at Asian cost levels. This role owns international growth of the Embedded Solutions proposition.
