What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sustainability, engineering or related fields, Sales/business/technical sales experience more than 10 years, Fluent in English for global communication, leadership skills with logical communication, People skills to develop good relationships with customers, Data-driven mindset with experience tracking program KPIs, Ability to travel 25%
Nice to Have
Technical background a plus, Consumer electronics or lithium-ion battery industry experience is strongly preferred, Direct experience working with or at companies that manufacture, assemble, sell, or repair consumer devices, Deep understanding of consumer technology product lifecycles, sustainability initiatives, and circular economy programs within the consumer electronics industry, Experience building and scaling partner programs, channel programs, or distributed collection and deployment networks, Smart, scrappy, entrepreneurial, science-loving, having a bias for action and a lot of grit, An ability to have fun while tackling hard problems!, A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!
What You'll Do.
Manage relationships with consumer technology and device companies
Establish partnerships to source and recycle lithium-ion batteries
Serve as commercial point person for Battery Bin program
Work with business and technical teams
Collaborate to solve business problems
foster and maintain relationships with companies
Coordinate multi-level partnerships for collection and recycling
Align multiple locations and global stakeholders
Serve as primary point of contact for partnerships
Manage end-to-end account relationships
Understand partner's product lifecycle
Understand partner's sustainability commitments
Understand partner's battery disposal needs
Position Redwood as preferred recycling partner
Manage product qualification process with customers
Understand technical requirements for recycling
Communicate with stakeholders internally and externally
Manage qualification timelines
Manage customer expectations
Ensure business is on track
Exceed customer expectations
Procure battery material profitably
Recognize customers' product roadmaps
Recognize customers' sustainability programs
Align resources to programs and priorities
