What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years of sales or fundraising experience, with a focus on new business development, 2+ years of team leadership experience, Proven success in outbound (cold) pipeline development and revenue generation, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into action, Experience managing pipeline, conversion metrics, and sales performance
Nice to Have
Professionally trained in consultative sales techniques, Experience in nonprofit fundraising or corporate partnerships, Experience scaling outbound sales strategies, Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)

**Start Pay ~ $80,000** **This role will work from home and can be located in any of the 21 states in the United States where Rise Against Hunger currently operates.** **About the Role** The Based Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth through both direct revenue contribution and team leadership, with a specific focus on pipeline development, outbound performance, and operational efficiency. This role leads the Market Development team in executing a structured sales model that balances inbound conversion with outbound pipeline generation. The manager is accountable for improving pipeline mix, increasing contribution from controllable revenue generation tactics (i.e. outbound), and ensuring consistent execution against defined activity and performance expectations. In addition to managing a team of Market Development Managers, this role contributes directly to revenue generation in cold-heavy markets and serves as the primary driver of outbound tactical development, testing, and performance optimization.
