Amazon Canada's Consumer Electronics and Entertainment Media team is seeking a self-driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic initiatives that enable our category teams to drive incremental success. Business Development Managers works with cross-functional teams including vendor managers to enhance value, selection, and convenience for our customers. This role requires a leader who can develop scalable mechanisms, build cross-functional partnerships, and demonstrate strong executive presence across Retail stakeholders. As a Business Development Manager, you will leverage data-drive analytics to develop creative solutions that drive business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance to optimize performance for our vendor partners. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at one of the world's most innovative online retailers while developing strong functional skills in online merchandising, marketing, buying, planning, forecasting, pricing, and business analytics. Key job responsibilities Develop and implement mechanisms, reporting frameworks, and tooling that empower category teams to incremental business with existing vendors and new vendors while ensuring they have the insights and capabilities needed to succeed. Establish metrics and KPIs that measure category team performance, create reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into business health, and use data to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement. Design and implement repeatable processes and mechanisms that can be adopted across multiple category teams, ensuring consistency in approach while allowing for category-specific customization. Chart clear roles and responsibilities across category teams, establishing accountability frameworks and decision-making processes that scale across the organization.
