This role is ideal for a seasoned new business specialist with a proven track record of securing and managing large corporate and mid-to-upper market clients. You will play a key role in driving strategic growth, developing high-value client relationships, and positioning the business as a trusted advisor in the commercial insurance market. The successful candidate will thrive in a high-performance environment and have the credibility, technical expertise, and executive presence to engage senior decision-makers. ### Key Responsibilities * Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the mid-market and corporate insurance sector * Build and maintain strategic relationships with executives, key decision-makers, and industry stakeholders * Manage the full new business cycle: prospecting, solution design, negotiation, onboarding, and handover * Structure and present tailored insurance and risk solutions aligned to client needs and risk profiles * Provide technically sound advice across a broad range of commercial insurance classes * Partner with internal specialist and service teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support * Achieve and exceed agreed new business and revenue targets * Develop and execute business development initiatives and market penetration plans * Identify and drive cross-selling opportunities across business divisions * Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and activity tracking in line with company standards * Represent the business professionally and strengthen insurer and stakeholder relationships ### Experience and Qualification Requirements * Minimum **5 years’** proven success in a **New Business / Business Development** role within a corporate or upper mid-market insurance environment * Demonstrated ability to s
