Full Job Description

Halter is on more than 200 farms across Southland, and we have a tight-knit team who genuinely loves what they do - we just need the right person to own Northern Southland. Flexible, varied, and never boring. There's real opportunity here to grow with a company that's scaling fast, in a region where you can make the role your own. ABOUT THE ROLE. As a part-time Business Development Executive at Halter, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring customer success within the Northern Southland territory. Working 3–4 days per week, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting ambitious growth targets, all while acting as Halter's on-the-ground representative. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with a focus on both expansion and long-term customer satisfaction within the dairy industry. We know great people don't always come in a full-time package. Whether you're returning to work, balancing other commitments, or simply looking for a high-impact role on a part-time basis - we want to hear from you. In this role, you will prioritise daily efforts that optimise growth performance and drive value for your customers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Support, and other regional sales teams, you'll share field insights to ensure Halter's technology continues to meet the needs of farmers. We are searching for a driven hunter with a strong track record to support Halter's expansion in the Southland market. This is an opportunity to positively disrupt an industry and pioneer groundbreaking change on some of the highest-performing dairy farms. You will be backed by a team of exceptional people at Halter's Auckland HQ, working alongside a passionate Customer team already on the ground in the region. This role can be based anywhere in the Northern Southland region and applicants must live within Southland. Travel is required to meet with farmers
