Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in science, business administration or another related field, Pharma and/or Consumer Health industry experience required, 5+ years of relevant experience in B2B sales, Business Development, Excellent communication in English, Excellent communication in German, Hunting mentality mandatory, Proven ability to drive revenue growth and build lasting client relationships, Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, negotiation and persuasion skills to drive successful deal closures, Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for managing leads, contacts, and sales activities, High level of organization and attention to detail to effectively manage multiple client relationships simultaneously, Self-motivated and target-driven mindset to achieve and exceed sales goals, Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture
Nice to Have
Advanced scientific degree and/or Master of Business Administration / commercially orientated degree is advantageous but not essential, Salesusiness development experience in the contract pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred, Thorough understanding of contract manufacturing and the pharmaceutical formulation and clinical development processes is a plus, Small molecule and oral solid dose formulation experience is highly advantageous

**Business Development Director, Pharma** **Position Summary:** Remote, Field Base Based in Switzerland Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events. Catalent Pharma and Consumer Health (PCH) is a fast-growing business within Catalent Pharma Solutions that delivers innovative technologies to improve patient and consumer treatments. Its offerings include Softgel, Liquid-Filled Hard Shell, Liquid in Bottle, Zydis® ODT, and a broad range of solid dose technologies across Rx, OTC, VMS, and topical products. Working at Catalent PCH means joining a diverse, experienced team developing prescription therapies for serious diseases such as cancer, autoimmune, cardiovascular, metabolic, and neurological disorders, as well as leading consumer products including pain relief, cough and cold, vitamins, and cosmetics in patient-friendly dosage forms. **Position Overview:** This person is expected to drive growth in their assigned territory and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to close deals. The Business Development Director will report to a Regional Sales Director. This role is expected to drive new deals by identifying, negotiating, and closing opportunities across Catalent’s oral dose technology offerings.
