What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Undergraduate degree (Bachelor/Honors Bachelor) and 5-8 years of related business development, sales, or related experience, in addition to substantial ongoing education, training and/or development OR College Degree/Diploma and a minimum of 8 years' business development, sales, or related experience, in addition to substantial ongoing education, training and/or development, Clinical Research industry experience required
Nice to Have
Educational specialization in Health Sciences or Business, Significant experience in account management, including building and expanding geographical territories, Extensive experience in financial resource management, including budgeting, expenditure, and revenue activities, Technical expertise in contract negotiation and analysis, Excellent communication skills across a range of groups internally and externally
What You'll Do.
Achieve annual sales target objective
Build client base in new regions
Develop and lead client presentations
Manage internal proposal development process
Develop draft proposals and cost estimates
Support contract negotiation cycle
Lead vendor meetings and negotiations
Support vendor qualification requirements
Monitor vendor budgets
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with Marketing group and Director BD; Assist the group Director with strategic sales planning; Assist the Director and Corporate Operations team; Meet with Sponsors; Provide information/updates to clients; Support the Clinical operations teams; Assist with RFP creation, review, and selection; Support the contracts team; Support the QA team
Communication Scope
Excellent communication skills across a range of groups internally and externally
