What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering large-scale digital transformation and business systems projects within complex or highly governed environments, Capability in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, process mapping, documentation, testing, and solution implementation support, Experience translating business needs into practical technology solutions, including identifying process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, Demonstrated understanding of human-centred design principles and user-focused service delivery approaches, Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across operational, technical, and executive audiences, Analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail, Experience supporting end-to-end project delivery including requirements traceability, testing, implementation, and change activities, Knowledge of governance, compliance, privacy, security, and information management practices within government or regulated environments, Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, SharePoint, Balsamiq, Figma, and related collaboration platforms, A collaborative, professional, and outcomes-focused approach with the ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments, A valid Vulnerable People / Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check are required

Experience working within Government, policing, justice, emergency services, or operational environments will be highly regarded

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the NTPF Digital Transformation Program, contributing to major digital and business transformation initiatives focused on improving operational capability, community safety, and service delivery outcomes across the Northern Territory Government environment. In this role, you will work closely with operational stakeholders, technical teams, executives, and external delivery partners to analyse business needs, document requirements, improve processes, and support the successful implementation of technology solutions.
