Gersh is the fastest-growing major agency, respected for its hands-on, client-first approach and commitment to driving innovation and success. Following an equity investment from Crestview Partners in 2023, Gersh has advanced its long-term growth plan, acquiring the Digital and Alternative departments of the A3 Agency and You First—one of the world’s top sports and entertainment agencies. With clients at the heart of every decision, Gersh leverages strategic insights and decades of experience to strengthen its resources, empowering clients to achieve success across the global media landscape. Position Overview The Business Affairs Executive plays a critical role in negotiating, reviewing, and managing deals on behalf of Gersh clients. The role requires a strong understanding of entertainment industry contracts, union regulations, and evolving market trends across film, television, digital media, and branded partnerships. Duties Review and negotiate talent agreements across film, television, streaming, digital, endorsements, and licensing. Review, draft, and revise contracts including deal memos, short-form and long-form agreements, and amendments. Collaborate closely with agents, managers, legal counsel, and clients to structure deals that maximize value. Interpret and ensure compliance with guild and union rules (SAG-AFTRA, WGA, DGA, etc.). Identify and mitigate legal, financial, and reputational risks within agreements.
