Eligibility Requirements

This is a safety sensitive position subject to the RTD Drug and Alcohol Policy. Must be able to pass a Bus Operator Training Program, including written and driving tests. Must be able to climb stairs and reach.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or an additional two years of relevant experience. Must be at least 19 years old with a valid driver's license for the past 2 years, and an acceptable driving record with no DUI, DWI, or reckless driving in the past 5 years. Must pass a DOT physical examination and a Physical Ability Assessment.

Nice to Have

Ability to obtain and maintain a current valid Colorado Commercial Driver's License with an air brake and passenger endorsement (Class B-P). Ability to successfully complete the Bus Operator Training Program. Ability to tell time and keep a timely schedule. Ability to meet satisfactory attendance. Ability to read and understand maps and time tables. Ability to work non-traditional hours, split shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
