Applicable transportation industry experience, Experience with transportation software, Experience with logistics software, Experience with navigation software, Experience using electronics, Experience using tablets, Experience transporting individuals with developmental disabilities, First aid qualified
What You'll Do.
Support client transportation safely
Support client transportation efficiently
Assist driver with directions
Take attendance of clients
Interact with clients
Interact with program personnel
Interact with client support staff
Communicate with dispatch clearly
Communicate with dispatch concisely
De-escalate conflicts between clients
Report conflicts between clients
Maintain professional appearance
Maintain professional demeanor
Ensure transportation safety policies compliance
Ensure workplace safety policies compliance
Safely transport clients to programs
Safely transport clients from programs
Ensure safety of all clients
Secure wheelchair bound clients
Operate wheelchair lift
Check working condition of seatbelts
Keep dispatch abreast of issues
Report disciplinary issues to operations
Assist clients getting on bus
Assist clients getting off bus
Work as member of team
Attend safety trainings
Buckle client's seatbelts
Check clients remain buckled
Clean bus during shift
Fill out run sheet data
Perform other job duties
