What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building services maintenance or facilities engineering, technical knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, Proven experience managing maintenance work order systems and coordinating vendor activities, Solid understanding of Risk Assessment and Method Statement procedures, including permit-to-work systems, Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines, communication skills with ability to engage effectively with technicians, vendors, and senior stakeholders
Nice to Have
Professional certification or license in relevant engineering discipline, Experience with Corrigo or similar computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), Knowledge of energy management principles and experience implementing energy-saving initiatives, Familiarity with building automation systems (BMS) and integrated facility management technologies, Experience managing annual compliance activities such as Integrated System Testing in commercial properties, Track record of successfully coordinating site handovers from construction to operations teams
