What You'll Do.
Oversee the operation of all building machinery and equipment
Develop staff work schedules for system monitoring
Plan and schedule maintenance for all building systems
Ensure maintenance plans are executed according to schedule and manuals
Ensure building safety and propose improvements
Maintain adequate inventory of necessary equipment and spare parts
Monitor and control efficient and economical use of utilities
Implement energy conservation plans and report results
Evaluate performance of engineering staff
Coordinate with relevant departments
and government agencies
Analyze causes of system
or equipment damage/defects and propose solutions
Manage and oversee the work of subcontractors and maintenance contractors
Handle tenant repair requests and coordinate resolutions
Maintain comprehensive records of system operation
Provide high-level technical information to asset management teams
Plan system maintenance
Train technicians on equipment repair and maintenance
Control operational quality
Oversee contractor work and renovation projects
Ensure maintenance and renovation work complies with regulations
Address technical expectations from building owners
Manage the work of technician teams
Train technician teams on repair
Schedule technician teams for optimal service delivery
Develop technician training programs
