Full Job Description

Labcorp is seeking a **Building Maintenance Technician** to join our team at **Eye** in **Suffolk**. **Work Schedule:** Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm (37.5 hours). **Job Responsibilities:** * Assisting Maintenance Engineering team with maintenance and repair of site plant and engineering systems. * Working individually on maintenance tasks as assigned by Facilities Manager * Undertaking daily plant checks including: steam boiler checks, L8 water compliance, AHU, chillers, AC units, sewage treatment plant etc. * Undertaking building fabric repairs: door alignment, drainage repairs, minor decoration etc. * Carrying out PPMs. * Liaising with and escort contractors. * Forklift and tractor driving. * Operation of MEWP. * Updating IT based PPM systems * Communicating daily with Facilities Manager and maintenance team * Reporting all plant failures **Minimum Qualifications:** * 3 or more GCSE’s, to include English, Mathematics and Science **Additional Job Standards:** * Experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing or construction trades. * Alternatively ‘handyman’ experience and general exposure to construction and engineering environment will be considered * Valid UK drivers licence * Weekend overtime available At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
