Willing to work at all Osler sites, Days/evenings 8 hours including weekends and statutory holidays
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Successful graduate of the BES program, Level 1 and 2, Minimum of three years of recent related experience, Minimum secondary school diploma, Previous operational experience in an automated boiler/HVAC plant, Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, layouts and specifications, Ability to evaluate condition of boilers, chillers, HVAC systems and other related equipment and to report same as necessary, Ability to make judgments based on knowledge and experience concerning the timing, type and extent of a repair of all building related equipment, Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration, Must be willing to work at all Osler sites as required
Nice to Have
Previous maintenance and operational experience in a hospital setting, Extensive knowledge and experience with building automation system computers and related DDC and pneumatic peripheral devices and controls (preferably Honeywell systems)
What You'll Do.
ventilating and air conditioning systems
Perform daily inspections of boilers and HVAC systems
Test boiler feed water
Open and closed loop water systems for chemical concentrations
Make adjustments when necessary
Complete daily rounds and update logs
Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
Perform minor repairs of boilers
Remove/repair pipework
heat exchangers and compressors
Work independently and in conjunction with others
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for physical plant equipment
Perform minor plumbing repairs to washroom sinks
Respond to fire alarms and operate fire alarm equipment
Perform outdoor tasks including snow removal
sanding and grounds keeping
Assist in moving and lifting of equipment and supplies

Work independently and in conjunction with others on all physical plant equipment maintenance and repairs
