Location: 2331 E Little Creek Rd, Norfolk, VA 23518 Compensation: up to $32/hour Schedule: Part-time and Full-time shifts available: Monday through Thursday: Evening Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM OR 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM Fri/Sat/Sun Off! Position Purpose The Building and Construction Trades Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and hands-on training to prepare students for careers in the skilled trades. Teaching areas include Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and Controls, Commercial Equipment and Repair, Structural Building Repair, Plumbing Applications, and Tiling, Flooring, and General Repairs. This role ensures students gain practical skills, industry knowledge, and confidence through engaging lessons and up-to-date learning resources. Job Responsibilities: Teach classes as assigned on a regular, scheduled basis as assigned and create a welcoming environment for students conducive to learning. Assist Program Coordinator, Campus Director of Education, or Campus Executive Director in developing curriculum, preparing course materials, and scheduling.
