ABOUT THE ROLE As a Robotics Technician (Mechatronics), you’ll be building the precise, complex, humanoid robots from component-level up to complete build. You’ll work with hardware engineering, systems integration, test, and advanced manufacturing to ensure our builds are executed accurately and efficiently, supporting a fast-paced R&D environment where every day counts. This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of the AI robotics revolution WHAT YOU'LL DO Start: September 2026 - Assembly - Build electro-mechanical assemblies according to CAD, drawings, and work instructions. - Perform precise mechanical assembly using standard hand tools, adhesive applicators, crimp tools, torque wrenches, and labellers. - Route complex harnesses according to instructions provided, labelling and securing as defined. - Apply and record serial numbers to tracked assets Test and QC - Testing of assemblies using jigs, fixtures, electrical test equipment, and compute devices - Document findings and the results of tests Culture and Quality - Adopt and support the team culture to drive collaboration and morale - Treat the tools and equipment with respect, maintaining them as necessary and reporting faults and damage - Engage in ongoing and regular activities to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop Be a High-Speed Collaborator - Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow technicians, engineers, and leadership. - Adapt quickly to changing priorities—jump in wherever help is needed. - Contribute ideas to improve the speed, reliability, and quality of builds.
