DEQ touches the lives of all North Carolinians in many ways to enhance and ensure our quality of life. **Description of Work** The primary purpose of this position is to provide budgetary guidance and consultation to assigned divisions and senior management. Position interprets legislation and budgetary policy, formulates continuation and expansion budgets, reviews and approves budget revision requests, provides analysis for management and division staff, Fiscal Research and Office of State Budget and Management. Responds to above entities for request for information. Other Key Responsibilities: Ensure all assigned budgets are properly certified and revised.
