**Job Details:** _Summary :_ This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to producers caring for the company's birds regarding the proper care and comfort. Duties would include, but are not limited to: * Advising producers on building and equipment specifications, litter manipulation, and farm sanitation. * Visiting farms to document bird comfort, manage flock and equipment settings, monitor bird health, and provide remedy when possible. * Monitoring feed consumption and ordering if necessary * Pulling blood and fat samples as required * Coordinating chick placements to farms * Assisting with catch schedules * Ensuring communication among Hatchery, Feedmill, and Livehaul departments regarding their contract farms. * Ensuring compliance with the production contract to optimize flock quality and minimize costs. * Ensuring adherence to all USDA and other government regulations regarding poultry handling. * Working with the Broiler and Breeder Departments in coordinating weekly chick placements * Performing other responsibilities as the need arises. _Requirements_ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in an agricultural field or equivalent experience relevant to the position preferred. **Experience: **1+ years’ experience in a poultry or agriculture-related field preferred. **Strong Communication Skills:** Ability to convey information clearly and effectively through both verbal and written means. Proficiency in active listening, ensuring mutual understanding, and adapting communication style to various audiences. **Computer Skills:** Basic computer skills such as checking electronic mail, entering data into document templates, or creating simple queries. **Travel:** 1 to 5 trips per year. **Additional Requirement:** Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl. **Relocation Assistance Eligible:** No **Work Shift:** 1ST SHIFT (United States of America) **Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
