The Bridge Engineer will be focused on applying structural engineering principals to evaluate, analyze, and document the in-service condition of bridge and transportation structures. The position emphasizes engineering analysis, structural behavior assessment, load rating, and technical leadership across bridge projects. The Bridge Engineer will utilize engineering judgement to assess structural systems, develop analytical models, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to infrastructure planning and asset management strategies. This role requires strong expertise in structural engineering, material behavior, and computational analysis methods, with the ability to translate field data into engineering solutions. On a day-to-day basis, they'll also be expected to: Lead Structural engineering evaluations of bridges and transportation structures Perform structural analysis, load rating calculations, and engineering assessments using industry-recognized software and analytical tools. Develop detailed engineering reports summarizing analysis results, structural capacity, and recommended actions. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to junior engineering staff
