What you’ll get to do: The Operations Manager oversees all aspects of the operation with direct supervision of all warehouse and transportation activities as well as being responsible for the operating performance of the branch. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe, cost-effective, and timely movement of products. This involves supervising the picking, packing, and shipping of orders and is responsible for the training and development of all warehouse and delivery employees. This position assures adequate planning, staffing, equipment needs, procedural compliance, and inventory accuracy. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily activities of the Branch Operations involving transportation, warehousing, and related services to achieve customer service, satisfaction, and cost objectives. The Operations Manager is also responsible for ensuring the Branch operates with safety as the utmost priority for both employees and customers. Responsibilities: Create a culture of safety, productivity, and process efficiency where employees are developed and know how their work is evaluated and fits into the big picture. Directs and monitors compliance with company policy and procedures. Participates with senior management in developing strategies to meet short- and long-term company objectives.
