What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant experience, Minimum 3 years sales experience, Minimum 2 years managerial experience, Life/Accident and Health Insurance licensing within 18 months, M&T Business Banking Specialist within 18 months, Demonstrated knowledge of Business Banking products, Work with common PC software, Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Nice to Have
Demonstrated sales business development experience, Fundamental understanding of profitability, Financial services product knowledge

Manage all branch activities
Direct sales and business development
Meet operational objectives
Achieve annual branch goals
Lead team through coaching
Manage team performance
Build and develop branch staff
Identify customer needs
Assist customers with solutions
Prospect and grow Business Banking relationships
Build bank's presence in community
Conduct interviews and select employees
Model and coach customer service behaviors
Reinforce execution of Retail strategy
Ensure operational requirements are maintained
Ensure compliance with policies
Prevent fraud and protect customer assets
Resolve complex account servicing issues
Provide coaching to reduce problem resolution
Engage with team members and business partners
Process Business Banking loan requests
Bundle products and services
Adhere to compliance risk controls
Promote a culture of belonging
Maintain M&T internal control standards
Implement audit points
Address issues raised by regulators
Complete other duties as assigned
Exercise authority over staffing
Conduct performance appraisals
Make salary recommendations
