# Job Description: ## Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. ### Primary Responsibilities: Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary. ### Experience: Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians. ### Qualifications: Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing. ### # Pay and Benefits: $14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include: * Quarterly Bonus * Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance * Company-funded retirement plan * Paid time off * Short- and long-term disability * Employee discount * Tuition Assistance _Benefits are subject to change at any time and governed by plan documents and Company policy.__Higher minimum wage applies in applicable locations._
