Schedule: Fulltime Job Type: Onsite Salary Type: Salary Req: # 2163 About the Role As a Carrier Booking Specialist III, your primary goal is to cover specific loads with carriers by identifying opportunities, negotiating rates, and ensuring excellent service. This role requires a combination of negotiation skills, market volatility knowledge, and the ability to understand and meet the unique needs of carriers and customers within your assigned region. You will take inbound calls from carriers, and you will make outbound calls to carriers. This position is Monday-Friday, 07:00-16:00. It may require working Mexican holidays and resting on US ones. What the candidate will do? Book carriers for critical loads (less than 48 hours from pickup) using market knowledge and internal and external tools. Build, maintain, and grow strong carrier relationships within the assigned region and serve as the main point of contact. Understand carrier priorities to negotiate competitive rates and secure capacity. Develop and execute daily coverage strategies to meet service and revenue targets. Communicate effectively with carriers and internal stakeholders through calls and written communication. Research and analyze transportation and logistics market trends within the region, sharing insights with the team. Identify potential carrier partners aligned with company objectives and growth opportunities. Collaborate with team members by sharing coverage strategies, best practices, and peer-to-peer coaching. Contribute ideas to improve automation, technology, and overall operational efficiency.
