What You'll Do.
Operate the technical side of broadcast operations
Operate the studio console
Ensure technically excellent and flawlessly timed content
Comply with FCC requirements
Provide clerical and operations assistance
Assure smooth airing of programming
Adhere to commercial logs
Contribute digital content
Repurpose audio programs
Utilize content platforms
Screen incoming phone calls
Maintain accurate transmitter and program logs
Air commercials per program logs
Record satellite feeds
Ensure transmitter is operating
Ensure all audio elements are problem free
Update discrepancy reports
Edit and post daily podcasts
edit and mix audio on deadline
Pull show video clips
Communicate regularly with hosts
anchors and producers
Monitor clock and provide cues to talent
Report equipment problems
Coordinate the appropriate mix of music and sound
Ensure that levels are mixed properly
Cross-train and maintain working knowledge
Fill in for team mates
Work with producers to create/edit 'best of' library
Assist talk show producers in creating varied and unique content
Provide on-air commentary
