Physical mobility to move self in various positions, Kneeling, Walking, Pushing/pulling, Squatting, Twisting, Turning, Bending, Stooping, Reaching overhead, Physical strength sufficient to periodically lift and/or carry 20 pounds, Physically restrain a student, Manual dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive hand/wrist/arm motions, Operate a computer and office equipment, 2 days / week in person at KIPP Academy Boston, 3 days / week at KIPP Academy Lynn
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Pass Criminal Background Checks
Nice to Have
Knowledge of brief functional analysis techniques, Ability to conduct Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA), Expertise in developing, writing, implementing and training staff around behavior intervention plans (BIPs), Computer literacy and baseline familiarity with Google Suite
What You'll Do.
Conduct functional behavior assessments
Conduct preference assessments
Create function-based behavior intervention plan
Select data collection tools
Graph and monitor data
Identify trends in data
Provide training to staff
Provide staff and parent training
Update school-based staff
Meet with campus-based teams
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with school mental health practitioners; Work closely with school based student support teams; Work closely with school leaders; Work closely with teachers; Work collaboratively as a member of the multidisciplinary Clinical Team; Engages parents in a collaborative and compassionate manner
