What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Active TS/SCI security clearance, 10+ years of direct experience implementing and maintaining networks, BAS in CS, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience), Juniper JNCIA or equivalent industry-recognized networking certification, CCNA, Proven expertise in backbone routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS/VPLS), Expertise configuring/troubleshooting transport-level encapsulation (DMVPN, GRE, IPsec), Expertise in path optimization and MTU/MSS troubleshooting within encrypted transport tunnels, Expertise in network security policy implementation and security device configuration, Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across teams, Results-oriented and autonomous, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain network integrity in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
Nice to Have
Juniper JNCIP, Cisco CCNP, or other relevant professional-level certifications, Relevant security certifications such as CISSP or CASP+, ITIL Foundation certification (v3 or v4), Experience administering and supporting network access control systems, Experience with firewalls and rule sets, Experience with WAN optimization technologies, Knowledge of enterprise virtualization
