Must Have
High school diploma or G. E. D., Valid Driver's License, Complete Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months
Nice to Have
Associate Degree in electronics / biomedical technology, Prior experience in mechanical, automotive, or construction industry, Prior experience in dialysis or medical technical setting
What You'll Do.
Maintain and repair medical equipment
Maintain and repair water treatment equipment
Train colleagues on operational maintenance
Manage medical supplies
Maintain the physical plant
Ensure outside vendor services are completed
Purchase and retain inventory of service parts
Perform water/dialysate sample collection
Report water/dialysate sample actions
Conduct trend analysis on water system
Document all repairs and maintenance activity
Assist in planning biomedical equipment installation
Assist in installing biomedical equipment
Transport equipment as needed
Participate in technical meetings
Participate in regulatory meetings
Collaborate with facility staff
Ensure regulatory requirements are met
Ensure OSHA requirements are met
Perform inventory counts
Transport goods between clinics
Assist clinical management with inventory costs
Perform initial verification of patient care staff technique
Perform annual verification of patient care staff technique
Monitor patient care staff technique for testing water
Assure tests and documentation comply with manufacturer’s specifications
Complete all technical training programs
Provide after hour technical on-call coverage
