Job Title: BIM Specialist Industry: Public Sector Experience Level: 8 years Location: 5 days onsite NY PMO Office Salary Range: $90-100K Responsibilities Develop and deliver BIM training programs, mentor junior team members, and promote BIM adoption across the program Ensure BIM models comply with program requirements, QA/QC standards, ISO 19650, and client-specific guidelines Produce and oversee BIM progress reports, model audits, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement Serve as the primary BIM point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders Communicate BIM objectives, progress, and risks to project leadership Lead BIM workshops, coordination meetings, and model review sessions Manage and delegate BIM-related tasks while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery Oversee clash detection, model federation, and coordination processes Manage BIM deliverables across all project phases, including design, construction, and handover Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans Support 4D (scheduling), 5D (cost), and 6D (facility management/asset) BIM workflows Ensure digital asset data is structured for effective post-construction facility management Establish best practices for modeling, coordination, and data exchange Manage and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) to enable collaboration Apply advanced BIM expertise to modeling, data management, analysis, and design optimization Sup
