Full Job Description

**Job Title:** Billing Coordinator **Location:** South Africa **Job Type:** Full-Time, Remote **Working Hours:** US Hours (9am-5pm EST) **Salary:** Paid in South African Rand (ZAR) ### Key Responsibilities * Oversee all billing processes and insurance authorizations. * Submit new authorization requests and follow up on expiring authorizations. * Run monthly billing and authorization reports to ensure all records remain up to date. * Communicate daily with insurance payors regarding authorizations, claims, and billing inquiries. * Follow up on billed claims to ensure timely processing and payment resolution. * Maintain accurate records and documentation related to billing and insurance processes. * Assist with resolving claim discrepancies, denials, and billing issues. * Ensure all billing activities are completed accurately and within required timelines. **Requirements** * Previous experience in billing coordination, medical billing, or insurance authorizations preferred. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Excellent communication and follow-up abilities. * Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Experience working with insurance payors and claims processes is advantageous. **Benefits** 1.
