We are currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Physical Therapy Aide or Technician to join our outpatient clinic in the Northridge area! This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that promotes long-term growth in the healthcare field. Responsibilities: * Assist in and perform patient transfers and lifts using proper body mechanics, according to standard techniques. * Assist the therapist in evaluations/treatments at the bedside and the rehabilitation gym (i.e., exercises, mat activities, orthosis fabrication, modality preparation). * Report treatment activities, patient progress, and any unusual response to treatment or incident to the therapist. * Maintain a neat/tidy appearance in all areas of the department, returning equipment/ supplies to designated areas * Regularly sanitize exercise equipment, mats, and assistive devices according to hospital safety and infection control standards. * Evaluate and distribute linen supplies, changing linens on treatment tables according to procedures * Maintain medical supplies in all treatment areas * Sustain organization in the closets regularly * Sweep soiled utility and equipment rooms at least twice weekly for therapy equipment * Assist in department communication processes-answer telephones, transit messages from nursing service to the therapist, communicate between therapists, etc. * Assist the therapist with delivery, set-up, and clean-up of the treatment area (i.e., patient room, rehab gym, etc.) for patie
