Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 0 experience with bachelor's degree, 4 years related experience with high school diploma, NMLS licensing for assigned states, Fluent in English and Spanish, Complete required 20 hours education for licensing, Meet federal and state requirements to obtain MLO license, Basic computer skills, Type at least 25 wpm, Communicate effectively via phone, email, and person, Gather facts accurately, Analyze causes, Evaluate alternate solutions, Arrive at sound conclusions, Manage multiple and/or conflicting responsibilities, Work in a team environment

What You'll Do.

Assist clients with loan applications

Obtain personal and financial information

Describe types of loans

Ensure documentation is complete and accurate

Coordinate with stakeholders to expedite loan approvals

Determine appropriate loan products

Obtain leads through Retail Home Centers

Present or communicate credit terms

Negotiate prospective credit approvals

Ensure timely processing of credit applications

Communicate credit application status to Home Centers

Evaluate applicant financial information

Determine loan eligibility

Decide mortgage loan applications

Communicate loan decisions

Approve loans up to $175k for home only

Approve loans up to $275k for land and

Ensure compliance with lending regulations

Ensure compliance with internal policies

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Ensure compliance with industry best practices

Maintain organized records of loan applications

Maintain correspondence records

Maintain related documentation records

Identify potential risks
