What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree or 4 years experience, Minimum three years sales experience, Minimum two years managerial experience, Federal registration requirements outlined in SAFE Act, Maintain Insurance licensing minimum expectations, M&T Business Banking Specialist within 18 months, Demonstrated knowledge of Business Banking products, Work with common PC software, Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Nice to Have
Life/Accident and Health Insurance licensing required within 18 months, M&T Way Certified, Precision Leadership Certified, Bi-lingual/Spanish preferred, Experience with Internet and email preferred, Demonstrated sales business development experience, Fundamental understanding of profitability, Financial services product knowledge preferred

Manage all branch activities
Ensure branch operating model success
Achieve annual branch goals
Lead team through coaching
Build and develop branch staff
Identify customer needs using sales processes
Prospect and grow Business Banking relationships
Build bank’s presence in community
Select employees based on staffing model
Coach customer service behaviors
Maintain operational requirements
Ensure compliance with policies
Prevent fraud and protect assets
Resolve complex account servicing issues
Provide coaching to reduce escalations
Process Business Banking loan requests
Bundle products and services
Adhere to compliance risk controls
Promote an environment of belonging
Maintain internal control standards
Complete other related duties
Manage staffing and performance
Manage appraisals and promotions
Manage salary recommendations
Manage performance management
Lead branch team to achieve goals
Stay current on operational changes
Demonstrate good risk management decisions
Service existing customers
Grow business through sales
Build partnerships with bank areas
Resolve customer issues timely
