Deliver all bids across the Municipal Services Division; Ensure all bids are aligned with business objectives; Ensure every submission is accurate, compliant and high quality; Prioritise the strongest commercial opportunities

Must Have
Degree educated or equivalent qualification, Written English skills, Excellent attention to detail, Previous experience within a tendering, bidding or pricing environment, Track record of producing successful submissions, Ability to write clear, persuasive and high quality bid content within tight deadlines, Confident communicator, Highly organised, Commercially aware, Ability to manage multiple bids and priorities simultaneously
Nice to Have
Knowledge of the waste industry or wider environmental services sector
What You'll Do.
Lead and manage a team of Bid Writers
motivate and support the team
Produce high quality written submissions
Ensure bids are professionally managed
Lead review and sign off of submissions
Partner with Business Development Managers
Create compelling quality responses
Drive continuous improvement of bid templates
Coordinate internal reporting and progress meetings
Work closely with departments for technical content
Support strategic Bid / No Bid decisions
Manage and develop the Bid Writing team
Maintain a library of model answers
Build relationships across the business
Attend regional meetings
Identify growth opportunities
Support wider business objectives
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner with Business Development Managers; Work closely with departments including Fleet, HR, IT and Procurement; Support strategic Bid / No Bid decisions alongside senior leadership; Build relationships across the business by attending regional meetings
Communication Scope
Written English skills; Confident communicator; Building working relationships

Professionally managed bids, Keep bids on track, Manage multiple bids and priorities
