What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven experience (5+ years) in beverage management or a senior bar leadership role within luxury hotels, high-end restaurants, or internationally recognized hospitality brands., knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and emerging beverage trends, with formal certifications (e. g. , WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers) considered an advantage., Demonstrated ability to design innovative beverage programs, including menu development, cost control, and inventory management., Excellent leadership and team development skills, with a track record of training, mentoring, and motivating diverse teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences., Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets while maintaining quality standards., understanding of local regulations related to alcohol service, health, and safety compliance in Malaysia., Exceptional guest engagement skills with a service-oriented mindset aligned with luxury hospitality standards., Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with culinary, events, and marketing teams to create cohesive and elevated dining experiences., Proficiency in beverage inventory systems and POS platforms., High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment., Flexibility to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations., Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language., Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
