Must Have
Engineering degree with substantial experience in power engineering, grid connection, High or Medium-voltage systems, Deep expertise in utility-scale high/medium voltage (1–100 kV) power systems, with specialization in BESS integration, substation design, switchgear, transformers, and TSO grid connection, Electrical design of utility-scale energy storage systems, covering high and medium voltage (1–100 kV) power installations including transformers, switchgear, substation design, and TSO (Transmission System Operator) integration, In-depth knowledge of battery cells, racks, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) technologies, Demonstrated track record in developing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from design and integration through deployment and commissioning, Hands-on expertise in Power Conversion System (PCS) technologies for grid-scale energy storage applications, Solid understanding of grid operator technical connection conditions (TABs) and grid connection guidelines (e. g. , VDE AR-N 4110/4120)

## **Job Description** Responsibilities – What to Expect: * You will develop and specify HV/MV (High and Medium Voltage (utility-scale 1-100kV) power installations) substations and distribution systems for our BESS large-scale power plants and grid-scale projects. * You are responsible for primary and secondary technology, ensuring everything is safe and future-proof. * Standardization and reusability are important to you – you contribute sustainable solutions. * You provide technical support to our external suppliers and give final approvals. * As a key person between engineering, sales, and project execution, you ensure smooth processes. * You represent our projects as a technical contact for authorities, agencies, engineering firms, and service providers. * You develop concepts to optimize work processes and maintenance in low and medium voltage. * You ensure that all manuals and documentation are complete, understandable, and up to date.
