Benefits Experience & Technology (BXT) is on a mission to revolutionize the employee benefits experience. We're seeking a customer-obsessed Benefits Technical Writer to join us in building unparalleled solutions that support the benefits enrollment process. BXT designs, deploys, and manages benefits on behalf of 1.5+ million Amazonians and their families worldwide. We're investing in solutions that make it easier than ever for employees to navigate their benefits, get the support they need, and lead healthier lives. The Benefits EnEx (Enrollment Experience) team manages all the technology related to enrolling and managing your benefit selections. In this role, you play a pivotal part in shaping the user enrollment experience through the written content that guides employees as they discover and enroll in their benefits. Working alongside product, UX, and software developers, you will craft intuitive, user-focused content that helps employees navigate the product, understand their available options, take necessary actions, and resolve issues. As a partner with Product and UX, you bring along design thinking to craft content for customer enablement. Whether writing long or short form content, our customers’ time and attention span is limited; therefore you understand the importance of every single word. You will also own content utilized within enrollment communication channels such as email, marketing materials for Open Enrollment (OE) or internally published articles related to OE. You will own the development and maintenance of comprehensive style guides, ensuring a seamless and consistent experience end-to-end. Additionally, you will conduct user research and A/B testing to continuously refine the written content and optimize the overall user experience.
