What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of benefits management experience, Hands-on Workday Benefits experience required, knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, Experience managing vendors and brokers

Workday certification (Benefits or HRIS), CEBS, CBP, or related certification, Experience in multi-state or large organization environments
What You'll Do.
Manage all employee benefit programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, wellness), Evaluate and recommend enhancements to ensure market competitiveness and cost efficiency, Lead annual open enrollment planning and execution, Partner with brokers and vendors to manage plan performance and renewals, Serve as the Workday Benefits SME (Subject Matter Expert), Configure and maintain benefits plans, eligibility rules, and workflows in Workday, Ensure data accuracy, reporting, and system integrity, Partner with HRIS/IT teams on system enhancements, testing, and upgrades, Troubleshoot and resolve benefits-related system issues, Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.
), Manage audits, reporting, and required filings (e.
, 5500, nondiscrimination testing), Maintain plan documentation and policies, Develop and deliver clear, engaging benefits communications, Support employees with benefit inquiries and issue resolution, Promote wellness initiatives and employee engagement in benefits programs, Manage relationships with carriers, TPAs, and brokers, Monitor plan utilization, costs, and trends, Identify opportunities for cost savings and program improvements.
