Progressive experience in group benefits in a client facing or consulting capacity providing strategic and innovative solutions to clients' complex benefits challenges, A valid and active Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) or willing to obtain, Deep expertise and understanding of the group benefits industry including funding arrangements and flex programs, Superior analytical and mathematical skills, strategic planning, communication, and listening skills, Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, A positive attitude and team player who works well with internal and external stakeholders, A solution and results oriented individual who demonstrates excellent problem solving skills, Ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables as identified in a timely manner, Proficiency and comfort working with multi-channel technology, Availability to travel on an as needed basis, Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle

Full Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Business Development the Benefits Consultant is responsible for growing the portfolio of small and medium market clients. The Benefits Consultant is responsible for achieving sales results, finding, and qualifying leads, and bringing new business opportunities to close. The Benefits Consultant sells product and services available throughout the Enterprise though is primarily focused on Group Benefits. They are comfortable working with C-Suite, Senior Leadership, and client decision makers to move forward new business development. ### ### # **The Benefits Consultant will:** * Act as the front-line sales point for People Corporation’s existing and prospective clients and works in a consultative selling capacity.
