What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Five to seven years of experience in benefits experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred, Ability to manage multiple priorities (small projects and sub-teams) in a fast-paced environment and interact effectively with employees at all levels, Must be technologically adept and able to work with multiple applications, analytical and technical skills, including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, SAP, UKG, etc. )

Specific knowledge of Workday system is a plus
What You'll Do.
Deliver expert-level day‑to‑day administration for medical
and Executive benefit plans
Resolve complex eligibility
and job transfer inquiries from employees and supervisors
Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit actions for hires
Maintain alignment between HRIS systems
and union contract provisions
Interpret and administer benefit‑related sections of collective bargaining agreements
Support contract negotiations through benefit costing
Serve as daily contact for carriers and third‑party administrators to resolve service issues
Conduct audits of vendor transactions
including leave claims
and new hire enrollments
and plan design work with consultants and actuaries
Conduct cost modeling
Provide insights to Benefits leadership on cost drivers and plan optimization opportunities
Maintain dashboards for enrollment activity
and wellness participation
Ensure compliance with ERISA
and collective bargaining agreements
Support Form 5500 filings
nondiscrimination testing
and required annual communications
Maintain SOPs and process controls tailored to manufacturing environments
Support system configuration
and communications planning for annual open enrollment
Manage multi‑shift rollout
ensuring employees across all locations receive accurate materials
Plan annual benefits fair/wellness day events for all locations
accessible communications for a primarily onsite
Conduct supervisor training and onsite informational sessions
Oversee benefits programs for international locations
ensuring compliance and competitiveness
Partner with global consultants and site leadership on renewals and ongoing issues
Participate in monthly reviews with international brokers
Manage the corporate relocation program
including vendor invoicing and policy updates
Administer the Expat program in coordination with Payroll and external tax partners
Manage the Motus auto reimbursement program
and imputed income calculations
Support benefit renewals
and ongoing communications development

Team & Collaboration
Partner effectively across Human Resources, Labor Relations, Payroll, and site leadership; Partner with union representatives and local HR teams to resolve benefit concerns and support grievance responses; Partner with global consultants and site leadership on renewals and ongoing issues
