What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Two years of experience with Republic Services, No crashes or injuries for at least the past two years, No disciplinary actions of any kind for the preceding 12 months, Highly proficient in the equipment style with which they are certified
Nice to Have
Recommended by their supervisor and operations manager, Willingness to participate in the process for their Division including both written and verbal evaluations of new hire drivers
What You'll Do.
Acclimate new drivers to job demands during Job
Provide foundational industry knowledge
Instruct and coach drivers through on property driving
Instruct and coach drivers through stretching and injury
Instruct and coach drivers through vehicle inspection
Teach new employee applicable learning criteria skills
Model the Republic Way of operating a solid
Communicate effectively with new employee
Provide daily feedback to management on new employee
Complete paperwork to document new employee progress
Perform driver’s primary responsibilities when not training
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
